English: Vladimir Putin and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II shared a carriage (the 1902 State Landau) from Horse Guards Parade to Buckingham Palace, in London. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
I have posted this story on my personal blog at least three times (but probably more). I love it. I read it years ago and I love sharing it. It is supposed to be a true story; you’ll have to decide for yourself. I soooo hope it is.
The Queen was entertaining a visiting head of state; they were parading down the Mall in a horse-drawn carriage, chatting nicely, when one of the horses made what can only be described as a rude noise.
QEII: I’m so sorry about that.
HoS: Please don’t apologise; if you hadn’t said anything, I’d have assumed it was the horse.
That reminds me of this one…
At a bus stop, a man breaks wind.
Another man turns to him and say “How dare you break wind in front of my wife.”
To which the man replies “I’m sorry did she want to do it first.”
While I was a student nurse this old fella told me this one
Hehe! Love it! Just my level
Tilly, we just knew you’d inject a bit of sophistication into the site
Lovely post. Had me chortling out loud.
Made me laugh out loud!
Thank you, I needed that to day and I also like to think it could be true!
